PATCO Unveils New Station Improvement Project in Public Outreach Session

The Port Authority Transit Company (PATCO), unveiled it's new station improvement project to bring a new life to the older Lindenwold, Woodcrest, and Ferry Avenue PATCO stations. The project is expected to start sometime in the Spring 2019 season, and should take 12 months to complete. The project is still in its design phases, however, and no contractor has been selected yet.

Improvements include new station house curtain walls with full glass pains to replace the glass blocks, new signs at every entrance, and column covers with a full paint job. And

that's not all with landscape improvements as well, and more listed as design enhancements on the PATCO website.

According to the PATCO website, the goal of the project is to "to create visually appealing interior and exterior areas to enhance the customer experience for the riders and motorists who use the facilities," and to "enhance the aesthetic appeal for nearby residents, businesses and property owners."
